Hawaii based Azure McCall is that rare jazz vocalist who can successfully deliver in both classic and smooth jazz styles. Echoes of Sarah Vaughan and Carmen McRae can be heard on these tracks along with a refreshingly distinctive style that is uniquely her own.

On this, her debut CD, she is backed up by a marvelous group of “A” List musicians and background singers including: drummer Vinnie Colaiuta (Sting, Joni Mitchell, Chaka Khan), bassist Alphonso Johnson (Cannonball Adderley, Wayne Shorter, Sarah Vaughan, Weather Report), pianist Tennyson Stephens (Nancy Wilson, Jack Jones, Minnie Ripperton), singer Anita Pointer (Pointer Sisters), and singer Louis Price (formerly lead singer with The Temptations).
